Non-Mains Energy Concession
Concession card holders who source non-mains energy for their heating, cooking and hot water can apply for a concession to help cover their yearly energy costs.

New South Wales
There are rebates for low income households, families and seniors, gas rebates, medical and life support energy rebates. There are additional programs including the National Energy Bill Relief Scheme and Rebate Swap Program. These programs are available to eligible NSW residents.
Please note, as a seene customer within an embedded network, the NSW Government refer to this as being an on-supply customer.
The on-supply concessions that are available are administered through the NSW government and is subject to eligibility.

Queensland
From 1 July 2022, the Queensland electricity concession is $1.0197 inc GST. This rebate is applied as a daily amount on your electricity bill.
To be eligible, the account holder must hold one of the following concession cards:
- Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card
- Centrelink Health Care Card
- Department of Veterans’ Affairs Gold Card (and receive the War Widow/er Pension or special rate TPI Pension)
- Queensland Seniors Card
- Asylum seekers are also eligible for this concession. You will need to provide your ImmiCard details to confirm your eligibility status.
The premise for which the rebate is claimed must be your principal place of residence.

Australian Capital Territory
The Utilities Concession covers electricity, natural gas, water and sewerage and is calculated on a daily basis, with rates depending on the season. The concession is available on the principal place of residence only and the account must be in the cardholder’s name. Only one Utilities Concession per eligible household can be claimed.
The Utilities Concession is also available to eligible residents of ACT caravan parks and retirement villages with embedded electricity networks. The Concession will be paid directly to eligible residents rather than as a reduction applied to utility bills. Please contact the ACT Revenue Office directly.
